I was just thinking about how fucked up the news is in this country. Tea 33 people were killed in VA however at thie same time over 200 people dies in a car bomb in iraq and many more in other places around the world. I tired of this country only caring about minor school shootings in Va when even more of american soldiers die everyday in the middle east. It's sickening. The news media has NO morals or integrity. Maybe people in this country deserve whatever happens to them for allowing the media to control us so entirely.

Anything that happens in America is always going to get more press. However, if 33 soldiers had died in Iraq, that would have gotten a lot of attention, but it was Iraqi civilians...so it doesn't get as much attention.
News is always provincial...Columbine gets a lot more attention in Colorado than it does the rest of the country becuase it happened here. News is always most important when it's close...
